What Do You Have Left?

Dear Friend, Today in class I watched a video of Steve Jobs giving a speech at a Stanford graduation ceremony. The ironic thing is Steve Jobs, dropped out of college in his early twenties, yet years later found himself leading the technology world, and giving speeches to college grads. What I took most from his speech is his drive to follow his passion. No matter how rough it got, or how much he seemed like a failure for dropping out of school and living on his friends floors, he kept on pursuing what his heart's desires. In his speech to these Stanford graduates he stated, "you are already naked, there's no reason not to follow your heart". By this he means, we don't have anything to lose. Jobs described how as humans we live, and we all meet the inevitable...death. Thus why not live as if it's your last? That's a good question. Why do we settle for what we don't want, in a life that only lasts so long? Why don't we follow our heart, even when all the odds seem stacked against us? Technically, the odds will always be stacked against you. There are people who don't want you to succeed, then there's the personal fear you allow to rest in your heart.We fear this life coming to an end, yet we don't enjoy the journey while we are on it. My question for you my friend, is what do you have left? ~Lady

Pressure Boiling!

Dear Friend, How's it going? Yes, trust me I know that life can get a little heavy at times. Everywhere I turn someone is struggling with high blood pressure, strokes, heart attacks and so forth! It's hot outside so people forget to take more care of their bodies, and the bills are piled high so people are stressed beyond measure! At times life can become a little too much to handle. Yet, understand you have to see yourself excelling forward despite it all! Use that pressure as gasoline for your life! Use the passion and motivation within you as a spiritual engine to push you towards your future! With Love, ~Lady

NEW YEARS!!!

Happy New Years!!! Oh yes I do realize that this post is about three days late, but none the less this is still a new year!! I hope that you enjoyed your celebrations and now we are all back on the daily grind. Well I personally am glad that it's now 2012, out with the old and in the new. I am not one who necessarily believes in "new year's resolutions", because most of the time we list all of these ideas for our new year, new me attitude and around February forget them! Personally I believe in setting feasible goals. The main way to accomplish a goal is to; set it,place a time limit, and take mini-steps of action that will help you achieve this goal. So what goals are you setting for yourself and your life? Goals can be as small as beginning to wake up before the sun rises to buying your dream house. If you set goals that you really desire and work towards them, then there's really no stopping. So everyone keep a positive attitude for this new season, and work on you!! That's my main goal, to have a more positive outlook and work on me. Love you, muah!!!!
