Beware of those sent to harm you. Beware of those who befriend you only to abuse you. Yes, beware of those who hope you lose. Nothing is more heartbreaking than when your so-called friends, become your worse enemies. People change but sometimes jealousy it's the leading factor in their sudden change. Don't let their ignorance deter you from going after what's yours. People will hate, that's just what they do best. Also, I hope you remember to take a look in the mirror and remind yourself not to hate on others as well. Misery loves company, so don't become that miserable person you normally despise. I understand that we all grow, but true friends grow together. True friends support and look out for one another, not envy each other's blessings. With friends like that who needs an enemy? I surely don't want venomous people in my life, that want to make me feel bad because of my success or because I refuse to stop. If you want to envy then take your "friendship" somewhere else...it's time to accept new applications.

NEW YEARS!!!

Happy New Years!!! Oh yes I do realize that this post is about three days late, but none the less this is still a new year!! I hope that you enjoyed your celebrations and now we are all back on the daily grind. Well I personally am glad that it's now 2012, out with the old and in the new. I am not one who necessarily believes in "new year's resolutions", because most of the time we list all of these ideas for our new year, new me attitude and around February forget them! Personally I believe in setting feasible goals. The main way to accomplish a goal is to; set it,place a time limit, and take mini-steps of action that will help you achieve this goal. So what goals are you setting for yourself and your life? Goals can be as small as beginning to wake up before the sun rises to buying your dream house. If you set goals that you really desire and work towards them, then there's really no stopping. So everyone keep a positive attitude for this new season, and work on you!! That's my main goal, to have a more positive outlook and work on me. Love you, muah!!!!

How have you been lately? I found a quote that I really accepted as profound. Steve Jobs ( God bless his family), once stated, "Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice". On numerous occasions we don't follow our heart because we are too busy listening to the partial opinion of others. You live and you learn. Too many times you will doubt yourself and what you are truly capable of because of another voice that supersedes your own. If you don't go see for yourself then how will you ever know, what could have been?

I was sitting in my room listening to the rain, when my mind clicked!!! WAKE UP!!! Life doesn't wait on anyone. So many days we lay in our beds dreaming about the possibilities yet, never taking the chances to truly seek what could happen if we just....step out!! I woke up today, and I felt a stir in my spirit. Yes, I woke up with that sick and tired feeling that only leads to one thing...change. So no I am not going to wait on life to change itself, I am going to change it!! Here's where my head is right now. I firmly believe that faith without actions is dead. We say we have faith and say we believe that God will do something, yet we don't do anything to prove that belief. What are you doing to prove your faith?

Hello Friend,

Hello, how are you? I have a question for you. Well being that I am young I have a lot of questions. Today I would like to know why do people make it hard for others to survive in a world that rarely wants to see you at your best? Maybe, I am just being super sensitive, but my question remains. Times are already hard, yet there are those constant naysayers that just have to inject their poison into everyone. These people make it almost impossible to get through the day. I am not saying that all hope is lost, because I rather be alive than dead. What I am saying is how does one overcome the doubters? My personal answer is to simply not listen. Yes, we have to go about our day with our ears and eyes open, but sometimes you have to close your heart to anything and everything that isn't good for your spirit. There are people that want to see you upset. They would respect you more if they could see the hell you have been through written on your face. However, I don't need you to know that I have been to hell and back. No, I don't need you to feel as if I have had personal meetings with the devil himself when you look at me. When you look at me I want you too see that I overcame every obstacle that was placed in my way and that I am still overcoming. No matter what we still have to be grateful for our quiet Hell because for someone else it could actually be Heaven. Yes, friend there are some things about life that I will never understand, but I do understand that those people who seek to hurt those around them are the ones who need the most love. Even when they are making it nearly impossible.

Guilty Pleasure

Hello Friend,

So I was talking to a friend the other day about some of the stunts men pull to get with women. It's funny how some things that make no sense at all are seen as actual tools to attract the opposite sex. Anyway, the discussion led us to question one senseless tactic...why do men pull the "guilt" move? Okay so let me explain. This is when I am speaking to you and try my best to play on your sympathies for me. It's sort of how one of those info commercials about saving the world play on our universal human emotions causing us to dig deep into our bank accounts. Well, this is the same tactic however it involves "sex" and us as women digging into our...you know. So, tell me how if a desperate man hasn't been with a woman in a long time, he will desperately throw that out there. At this point I'm not even sure to view him as a "man", but more as an alien from another planet who lacks communication skills with our species. Now this "alien", will state his position (or lack there of), as if somehow you can change this. Somehow by you being with him, it will move the cosmos of our planets, throwing him back into the game. Well I'm not sure how many of you watch Yu-Gi-Oh, but if you watch it then you will see that once an opposite character gains points, you of course lose yours!!! Meanwhile, you are trying to figure out how his need is any of your problem? How can you guilt trip a woman into feeling that she should be with you, because basically you haven't found anyone who wants you? This must be tactics that only work when you as a female are having one of those low days. You know...you woke up and didn't feel pretty (or human for that matter). Last time I checked sex and relationships aren't sympathetic. Officially there is a new meaning to the term "guilty pleasure". Muah!!!

Why should I define myself for you?
That will never benefit me, but will make it easier for you.
Easier for you to place my life in a category.
Categorizing me with all of your other ladies.
But baby my personal style is weaved in my own originality.
So how can I ever find you worthy of my mind and body,
when you're so busy putting me on a shelf.
No honey, this is not barbie.
You refuse to learn or appreciate me for my inner qualities.
I find you blind to the meaning of true beauty.

You will only pay attention to the outside, saying that I'm sexy labeling my body a dime.
You can stimulate my body with your tongue all night , but are you willing to stimulate my intellect with words of knowledge that will have me yearning to learn more in this lifetime.

How will you ever obtain anything with me?
I find that to be mundane,
a waste of both of our time.
What I am saying is more than just another rhyme,

Go sit in the same box you tried to use to trap me.
Either I am too hood or too classy.
So I have a suggestion for you,
go about your business and find the woman that was tailor made just for you.
Because tailoring me to fit your description just will not do.

It's so easy to get caught up in other peoples' thoughts about you. Yet, since when does the opinion of others define your personality? That is absurd!!! I have been dumped with all kinds of reactions from people when they meet me or get to know me. Honestly, all of it means nothing. My goal in life right now is to define myself. To wake up each day and embrace every single part of me inside and out!!! No I am not perfect, nor do I want to be. Yes, I will fail but that's the best way to learn. No, I'm not always sociable, and can be very awkward in social situations, but I love it!!That's me!!! I like what I like, and I don't care what people think. Yes, at times you have to go get a personal opinion, but you are still the one making the decision. You have to live with you, so work on that,lol!!! Embrace what makes you different and as an old manager use to tell me....distinctive. Muah!!!
